Easter

Easter this year was celebrated with the three Hugh's, two Kathy's (one with a K one with a C), a Lauren and a Becky:)

We had a fabulous brunch with bloody mary's, champs, and AMAZING food...we might need to revisit this place for Mother's Day!!

Easter Egg Hunt

The day before Easter the town we live in put on a Kid's Easter Egg Hunt. Trey was working and not able to join us but we were lucky enough to have Papa B, B and Grams with us for the fun day. Here are some photos from the hunt. Lo was LOVING the candy.

Don't worry Hugh next year you can hunt for eggs just like your big sis.

Grams comes to meet baby Hugh and spoil us all!!!

Grams came out to meet Baby Hugh and during her Spring Break. This will be her last Spring break because after 42 years of teaching she is retiring in June. Yay MOM! We had a great week. She helped me out a TON as usual.  I was able get some much needed sleep and Trey and I were able to go on some fun dates.
I will remember all of the fun we had at the parks day in and day out just spending time with the babes.

We can't wait for your visit in July. Now go finish your school year!

Meet Hugh for the first time...
Papa B learned for the first time that his grandson was named after him. He was quite moved.
Grandma B thought Hugh looked like a Zwygart and then retracted the statement the next day, declaring that upon further inspection he was definitely a Batten.

Welcome Hugh...the fourth Hugh but the first William

On March 1st we were blessed to welcome our son Hugh William Batten into our lives. He was born at 7:31 pm weighing in at  7 lbs 3 oz and 20 inches long. He is in good company receiving his first name from his father,grandfather and great grandfather.
