Beach Days

During the month of April  we were able to take the kiddos to the beach quite a bit.

Things we learned:

Our drinks need to have LIDS---Miss Lauren is really good at throwing sand.

Lauren is still figuring out that she shouldn't be eating the sea shells.

First Day of School

Today was Lauren's first day of Mom's Morning Out! What this means is Lauren goes to school from 9-noon, two days a week and mommy and Hugh get to go to Target, get groceries, hang at the beach and possibly sleep:)

Lo's new chair

Lauren sometimes gets a little sad when I am holding/feeding baby Hugh and she wants to be held too. While  Grams was visiting she offered the suggestion of putting a little cushion next to my glider so she can be with us while I feed him. Then when she went home she decided to send something a little better than a cushion. Lo now has her own chair!!! She LOVES it. She sits and looks at books on it and feeds her own babies on it too. Such a good little mommy. Love this girl!!

Brunch with the babes

We decided to try a local greasy spoon spot we've been walking by everyday for breakfast this week. 

We were excited to see they had a teddy bear pancake on the kids menu thinking it would be right up Lauren's alley.

Here is the teddy bear pancake in all its glory two seconds before she threw it on the floor.

NO FOOLING--Our sweet baby boy Hugh is 1 month old today!! What a busy month it has been!!

We love you Hugh and are so happy you are ours!!!
