Brazilian Friends

On Sunday we headed to Santa Monica to Fig restaurant at the Fairmont Hotel for brunch. We met up with my friends from Brazil, Carina and Junior. I can't believe it has been 9 years since I last saw them! They are in town hitting up Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Miami for Carina's birthday which is today!! It was such a treat to see them today and I hope we can travel to visit them in Brazil in the coming years!! 

Uncle Andy

Uncle Andy came to visit us and see Pearl Jam this weekend. On Friday we took him to Redondo Beach to show him more of the area and where we are considering buying. Here our some photos from the pier.

Later that day we took Andy to favorite local Mexican restaurant. After dinner we watched a movie and the. I took Trey to the airport as he was heading to Atlanta for a work trip. Here he is with Hugh before he left. The blur is Lauren:)

Night Park

Last night before dinner we went on a walk and were going to swing by the park. Because it is dark early now the park lights were off by 5. Since we didn't want to play in the dark we headed over to the bocce ball field which was lit and horsed around for awhile. Lauren had fun throwing around her ball and getting tossed in the air by daddy. Hugh loved chilling in the grass and watching his sisters every move.

Baby Owen visits

Beau brought over her one month old Baby Owen this week. We loved meeting this cute cuddly dude and can't wait for him to visit again. Here are some pics of the cuties. Hugh loved having someone around that was smaller than him:)

Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup

Not sure that she's a fan of tomato soup but she did like dipping the grilled cheese  in to test it out.

Brunch with Grams!!

Red Pepper

Lauren pointed at the red pepper on the counter and said "apple", so we told her' "no, it is not an apple it is a red pepper." She didn't care and kept reaching for it so we gave it to her. Surprisingly she took it and took a bite out of it like an apple and then...took another bite! She loved it! 

This is Daddy trying to negotiate trading the ball for the red pepper so we could proceed to the park. She's weighing her options.

Halloween Sweeties

We checked out our towns local Halloween festival yesterday. Lauren loved seeing all of the costumes especially all of the "Meeny" Minnie Mouse outfits. The Cherubs both looked adorable with Lauren as a witch and Hugh as a Happy cow. Lauren refused to wear the witches hat so Grams put a cute bow in her hair instead.
