Play time

Here we were reading books and playing before bedtime. Lauren loves the alphabet book right now. Her Daddy has been working hard teaching her the alphabet at night. Hugh is loving the mermaid figurines right now.

Picking out a tree

Monday night we headed over to Home Depot to pick out our tree. We wanted a little tree that would fit in our trunk. We decided on a little tree that had sprouts coming out of the top that reminded us of a palm tree:)  Our California tree!

Sweet Boy is 9 months today

He is 9 months today. He is standing while holding onto something. I predict by months end we may see this guy take his first steps. His sister walked at 9 months and 3 weeks so we will see if he follows in her footsteps:) I am TOTALLY cool if he decides to walk later though;) I keep telling him 12 months or later would be good...but he has his own plans.

First Rice Krispy Treat

We gave Lo her first Rice Krispy Treat. She was hesitant at first but after she took that first bite she loved it!! She held onto the treat so tight, I think she was worried we would take it. Sweet thing.

Shopping Buddies

This is the first time both kids have sat in the cart on a shopping trip. These kids love Costco!! They were great shoppers except for one fight that broke out when Lauren didn't want Hugh eating any of her cornbread. After we broke that up, smooth sailing:) Hugh tried mashed potatoes for the first time. He's a fan.

Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving holiday we headed down to San Clemente to hang out with Papa B and B. We arrived there on Wednesday and B made spaghetti and we took the kids swimming and then enjoyed wine and late night conversation after the kids went to bed. On Thanksgiving we had a relaxing day and headed over to the Gilbert's house for a festive celebration.

Here are some pictures of us before we headed over to the Gilbert's.
