Snuggles

No picture, just thoughts. My little boy was crying from his crib only 45 minutes after I put him down for the night. I thought about letting him cry it out a little as he is 7 months now and has been able to sleep through the night. But, after about 3 minutes of crying  the urge to go pick him up took over. I went in and snagged my man who was standing up holding on to the crib spokes. The minute I picked him up he stopped crying. I carried him to our rocker and rocked him back to sleep and within minutes he was out.

This first year is flying by and know the moments of sleepless nights are fleeting. My little boy will be a year before I know it and the snuggles will be there but less frequent as he gains his independence. So for now, I snuggle. Sleep tight little man. Mommy loves you.
