Trey is going to be out of town for Valentines Day so we were able to celebrate a little early this year. Grams watched the kids and we headed up to Solvang for 24 hours.
Here is a picture of us right before we left. It was hard to get both kids at the same time to cooperate.
After the picture we jumped in the car and headed to Solvang. Once we got there we picked up sandwiches from our favorite sandwich shop Panino and headed to Buttonwood for a tasting. We enjoyed an Amazing tasting and then purchased a bottle to enjoy a glass with our sandwiches in the vineyard. After our picnic we headed to our hotel to check in. The hotel was right in the heart of Solvang so we were able to park our car and then just walk to everywhere we wanted to go.
We hit up a happy hour and enjoyed some tasty wings and pork sliders and then hit up two dive bars to try their local
beer.
Afterwards we stopped and picked up a bottle of vino and some pizza to enjoy in the room. For good measure I made Trey buy us a peanut butter Snicker:)
On Wednesday we headed back home but not before a coffee and a Danish:)
